Are the book of Psalms Jesus' accurate words?

I read somewhere that Psalms are actual sayings and parables that Jesus liked and often retold. Or were they written generations later?

JD's got it right. Take a look at the Bible. Psalms are in the Old Testament, written before Jesus. It's Jewish sacred writing. New Testament is where Jesus appears, and it's Christian.

Actually, some people believe that some of the Psalms (which were songs or poems) were written by King David, an actual historical person. And Jesus is supposed to be descended from King David.

The Psalms were written generations EARLIER. The Book of Psalms is in the Old Testament, and Jesus' life and parables are written about in the New Testament.
