Plant has pores that open up to control heat. Bird and mammal shiver when its too cold and sweat when its too hot. Reptiles sun when its too cold and dig in when its too hot.

    1. Shivering

    2. Behavioural (e.g. sitting in the sun, hiding in a nest, huddling together etc.)

    3. Reduced blood flow to body extremities.

Plants: Dunno, mate, I'm a zoologist.
