I caught a virus very recently what do I do?

I have norton antivirus but Ive had one before so KNOW MY COMPUTER HAS BEEN INFECTED, i DONT WANT TO PAY CASH TO FIX THIS

    First, uninstall Norton. It is an absolute piece of crap that doesn't block anything. Next, go to a website such as http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ to do a free online scan. The scan should pick up any virus that you have and remove it from your system for free. Next, you should invest some money in real protection such as Dr. Web's antivirus. The final thing to do is stop visiting bad websites! Oh, and a little common sense about what to run and what not to run always helps ;)

    Always your antivirus software will give you some options like delete infected files but before accepting this option you should see which type of file is infected if it is a program file then select the option of eliminating it or blocking it.So no need of paying cash.

    I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

    Download AVG 7.1 free only 18 mb it will delte it automatically

    use-

    -spybot search and destroy (barely 5mb)(free)

    -ad-aware SE personal (free)

    -avg anti-virus (free)

    -windows defender (free, but genuine windows required)

    -spyware blaster(free again)

    for windows defender, get it at www.microsoft.com

    i got the rest by a search on google
