What is Bulimia?
Bulimia, also called bulimia nervosa, is a psychological eating disorder. Bulimia is characterized by episodes of binge-eating followed by inappropriate methods of weight control (purging). Inappropriate methods of weight control include vomiting, fasting, enemas, excessive use of laxatives and diuretics, or compulsive exercising. Excessive shape and weight concerns are also characteristics of bulimia. A binge is an episode where an individual eats a much larger amount of food than most people would in a similar situation. Binge eating is not a response to intense hunger. It is usually a response to depression, stress, or self esteem issues. During the binge episode, the individual experiences a loss of control. However, the sense of a loss of control is also followed by a short-lived calmness. The calmness is often followed by self-loathing. The cycle of overeating and purging usually becomes an obsession and is repeated often

Being bullemic is when people (mostly girls) pig out and eat a lot of food....then rush off to the bathroom and force themselves to vomit. That way they can feel as if they've eaten alot but then don't have the weight of it.Source(s): The American Girls Body Book for Girls

Bulimia is an eating disorder where the person purges intentionally. Typically, this is preceded by binge eating, however some bulimics will purge even the smallest amount of food. Usually the bulimic purges by forcing themselves to vomit, however, laxatives and such may be used.
I myself have been bulimic. I used to purge several times a day, now I try to just watch what I eat, but I still relapse occasionally.

Some people have already said... but it's addictive. As in, psychological addiction that's serious bad news and self-perpetuating, bringing you further and further out of control. It might sound like an easy shortcut, but DON'T start. Go read up on the dangers before you do. The fatality rate is surprisingly high - not just because people get out of whack and out of control and kill themselves, but because the actual act can kill you.
Good luck, and concentrate on health! That's the only way to be happy, I think.

Bullimia is vomiting food after eating large amounts of junk food. Bullimics are usually not tiny like anorexics. They also have the chance of having rotten teeth because of all the stomach acid that washes over them and lack of important nutrients.

It is when you Eat something and you throw it back up. The reason you throw it back up is because your brain has a disorder and you have this fear that your going to get fat. Normally you'll eat a real big mean to fill yourself up, then you'll Imediatly throw it back up.They'll do this to fill full for a minute then throw it back up to not gain weight. It has many downsides and is a problem that should be taken care of in early stages.

It's when you eat a ton of food then puke it back up again... either because you're obsessed with food and binge uncontrollably, or because you think you're fat and don't want to digest the food you do eat.
It's a bad thing to be.
