They would lose a lot of money if they went along with the vote. Out of greed they are willing to put many lives at risk. So what is new in the world. Greed and selfishness will always win with the human race.

No. There are 50 states in the U.S.. Russia is not one of them. Russia will act in the best interest (as they see it) of Russia. That's what countries do. They are no more obligated to further the agenda of the U.S. Administration than we are to further theirs.
