It's pretty simple, just use the vertex formula:
- b
----
2 a
Where:
a = -15
b = 300
- 300
---------
2 (-15)
- 300
---------
- 30
Max price = 10 dollars.
..................
Now, plug the max price into the equation:
R = -15 (10)^2 + 300 (10) + 12000
R = -15 (100) + 3000 + 12000
R = -1500 + 3000 + 12000
R = $13,500
Good luck in your classes.
