Why are the Golden State Warriors roster so full of great players, but not much as a team?

They don't play good transition defense and most of them are young. Ellis, Barnes, Biedrins, Dunleavy, Diogu and Pietrus are all good players, but still very raw.

I think they will be good down the road, but they need to evaluate these players fully and try to make some deals for the ones they don't want to keep.

The Warriors are a good young team but they also play in the West and have to face Dallas, Phoenix, LA, Houston, & San Antonio on a regular basis. They are a good team and fun to watch.. but its the pros man.. every team can win on a given night. Give them 2-3 years to develop and they will make a playoff run, if not.. its time to switch up the approach. The NBA draft is also one thing that swings balance in the NBA all it takes is one Superstar and a team is changed. Competition is a thing of beauty. They also need to get rid of Adonel Foyle and use his fat contract to get some verteran bench and locker room support. No replacement for experiance

I really don't know... Baron Davis, Jason Richardson, that sounds like they struck gold, but apparently all they struck was poo.
