What is a reverse switch called?

What is the name of a push button switch when it's pushed in it's "off" and when it's out it's "on?"

    That type of switch is usually called a Normally Closed switch. In it's normal state, not pushed in, it passes power or closes the circuit.

    When you push it in, it no longer passes power or opens the circuit.

    That is the technical name and description. Some speciallized switches are called Kill Switches because the pushed in position to open the circuit is temporary.
