Well my at my sister's bachelorette party it was classy and adult at the same time

We had a pink theme and we all went and got our nails and toes done, opened presents, played games, went to the mall, and then at night we all went to a club (not a strip club) but one where you can dance and party with your friends like we did before when we were all single.

    It was fun and guilt-free.

Depends on how many guests are involved. For a small group, go to an upscale restaurant; Let guests order whatever they like and you pickup the tab. Start the dinner with a mimosa toast. Finish the dinner with a salute of Chambourd and present each gal with a tiny 'real' gold gift.

...why settle for one male dancer, how about a chorus line, a male version of the Rockettes.

For a large group...skip eveything above - do a buffett brunch at a local place featuring this or a buffet dinner. Start with a Pinot Grigio or Chablis, etc.wine toast , plenty of good food, followed by coffee and tea and a little gift for all from you dollar store.

Take cooking classes all together- Find a cuisine or type of course everybody likes and book it at your local culinary school-Weekend only.

Pleasure Party-This can be done tastefully!!! You can combine it with wine and cheese and it's fun too. Besides, wouldn't it be nice if we could explore how to please ourselves when were pissed off at the hubby-or better yet more creative ways to please him! Plus-you are doing it at someones home, its safe warm...blah..blah...blah.

Go to a resort/spa and pamper yourselves.

Book one of those pottery painting places and tell eveyone to paint serving platters for you and your husband to be. or maybe not platters but planter pots-limit the colors they use, so you don't end up with a medly of junk.

Hire a personal chef and have a really nice dinner. Put to gether a DVD of clips and slides of the bachlorette growing up, old boyfriends, fun times. Ask mother in law to be for the same photos and clips, so you can make a slide show of him--how funny would that be.

Go to a party idea website??

I actually went to one that all the girls dressed as 50's flapper girls, went to dinner and dancing. Another good one is a scavenger hunt in your city, ending with dinner and drinks. Usually most merchants, restaurants etc will play a part in the scavenger hunt if you ask them, (you can email me if you need more particulars). I am actually planning mine now and we are taking the train to Chicago for the weekend. All the girls are pitching in and we are able to reserve two cars for just us with dinner and they also have a dance car. When we get there a shuttle will take us to the hotel and the rest of the weekend we can do whatever looks good. Feel free to email me if you need more help.

I did a spa day for mine. We all got massages, manicure, pedicures, and facials. It was pricey but the day of relaxation was soooo worth it...considering we all work. If that's not a good idea...I've known people to have a slumber party where you do all the cute things you did as little girls at sleep overs.

Try having a Surprise Party, Great company with great products- lot of fun too. Most of the reps will give the bride to be a great gift too. Plus she can fill out a wish list and her friends can buy things off of it. Plus she can get free products too. I have been to a few of these and it is great fun- girls seating around drinking and having fun. For more info visit the link below.
