What is the best engine oil for a 350 Yamaha ATV other than what is available from the dealer.?

    The most important factor in oils is the weight. This is actually a measurement of the oils viscosity at different temps. Once you know the required weight you simply need to buy a name brand oil.

    All oils are basically the same and despite any advertising you see or hear the difference between one brand over the other is negligible since the only difference between brands is the detergents used by the various manufacturers.

    any "brand name" 10w30. if you would use in your car, you can use it in the atv.
