How many people celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas?

Christmas is NOT about his birth.

If it is don't you think it is absurdly rude to celebrate someone's birthday LATE every year?

"Since John was born on Passover, the 15th day of Nisan (the 1st Jewish month), Jesus would have been born six months later on the 15th day of Tishri (the 7th Jewish month). The 15th day of the 7th month begins the Feast of Tabernacles (Lev. 23:34-35), also known as Sukkot. Jesus was born on the 1st day of the Feast of Tabernacles! In the year 5 B.C.E., this fell in the month of September."

If you people had any sense of decency and respect for the man you would at least acknowledge you were late and wish him a happy BELATED birthday.

No wonder christians have to go to confession every week, they miss thier main religious figure's birthday.

there replaced into no "Christmas" beforehand the beginning of Christ and it replaced into not celebrated for numerous hundred years after the time of Christ. such issues as xmas logs and mistletoe are from historic north and western eu celebrations of the iciness solstice. the extremely date of Christmas interior the western calendar replaced into probably from a Roman social gathering of the start of iciness. no one knows precisely at the same time as Jesus replaced into born. Santa Claus got here from Greek bishop interior the third (?) century. There are legends about him yet I ignore them, it isn't that factor of three hundred and sixty 5 days. maximum issues linked with Christmas have little to do with Jesus. that's why some stricter denominations like the Puritans have tried to suppress Christmas celebrations. yet maximum human beings can combine the "Pagan" symbolism with Christianity.

  • Me and fam definitely do! We always read the story of his birth in the helps us to remeber the REAL reason for Christmas...and to slow down for a minute with all the traditions
