    1. It is due out in 2008, but that could be pushed to 2009. The are still working on the script.

    2. It was cancelled last year. There have been no plans for a new Star Trek TV series.

    1. They are developing a new movie, but it's still in concept stage... the general rumor is that they are going to do a Kirk and Spock story from the past right after graduating from the academy... it being their first meeting and adventure together. They'll recast the roles accordingly.

    2. Enterprise got cancelled- season 4 is the last.

    3. No new series planned, the movie is it. The future of the franchise likely rests with the new movie. If the movie doesn't do well, it might kill studio interest in keeping the franchise going with movies or tv.

  • there will probably not be another star trek series. enterprise was the last one. and the only reason why that one got made is his wife from it and got the networks to air it. the show enterprise was something gene was thinking about doing but never finished it because he died. i have not heard of a movie. and honestly i think that star trek is done. i have been watching it since 1978 and i really don't think they can do anymore. i mean there was the original show, movies (8 or 9), next genereation, ds-9 voyager, and enterprise.

Ratings for Enterprise started strong, but declined rapidly. The show continued to lose ratings during the fourth season, and Paramount canceled the show in early 2005. There is no next series yet. The film shall be released in 2008 and is based upon Gene Roddenberry's science fiction franchise. The plot is not available yet.

The next Start Trek film is coming together. JJ Abrams (Lost, Alias, MI:3) has been named as the director. It is slated for a Summer '08 release.

Enterprise met its demise over a year ago. You may have been the only person watching it after the first few episodes. It contradicted Star Trek history too much for my taste.

There is no movie currently being made.

Enterprise was canceled over a year ago due to poor ratings.

There is no current star trek planned.

i'm 40-one and that i grew to change into prepared on the TOS at the same time as i replaced into only a tike observing it on syndicated community. For me, the hot movie replaced right into a sadness because....nicely i will't precisely say because which could spoil the finished plot of the movie!!! and that i do not favor to attempt this to you. interior the right, the extra i imagine about it, the extra i love the hot movie. It has stunning particular outcomes, Chris Pine is soooo gorgeous as a cushty Kirk, and a ton of alternative causes to love it. i'm studying celeb Trek books now and am interior the midst of Diane Carey's "very last Frontier" (good study btw) and that i ask your self how the authors who tried to stay authentic to TOS experience about the hot movie besides. bypass for it and watch it although. i trust jealous about you being 19 in the start and secondly for you experiencing celeb Trek for the first time. fortunate you.
