What is the Conn. License that I see on packages of baked goods?

    It means the bakery has been inspected and licenced by Connecticut inspectors so that the goods may be sold in CT. There's an explanation inside the Straight Dope article I've linked (even though it specifically addresses the Penn. licences.)
