When it comes to holiday decorating, are you colour co-ordinated or do you go 'mad interior designer'?

Personally, I'm of the 'everything in it's place and maximum two colours' (usually red and silver) school of thought.

I have the tendency to color coordinate my wrapping paper. It's easier than trying to figure out who's present is whose. My husband thinks that's crazy but it makes it easier for me especially with 3 kids. I don't see anything wrong with what you're doing especially if it's something that you do every year. Personally, I would switch the colors up every year so that you don't get into a rut. You never want to be predictable. There are only so many red and silver items that you can get. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

I take pride in my decorating skills and I feel to put up decorations is to honor the "reason for the season". I decorate in a victorian flavor, with pinks, cream and soft greens; with pine garland and bows. I have lots of crystal ornaments on my tree to reflect the lights and give it a nice glow. I think it adds to the magic when you take time to decorate.

The Holidays are all about tackiness. The more designs and colors the better. There's nothing wrong with plaid and polkadots. :)
