    D00d, have you been nipping at the cooking sherry? They are the Cubbies. They haven't won anything in almost a century. They'll find a way to screw it up. Go 'Stros.

    No...the Cubs will be better yes, but they probably wont even make the playoffs again. The NL Central is pretty tough. You cannot spend ALOT of money and think all of a sudden youre a contender, especially when you spend to much money on players that arent worth it, I mean Ted Lilly is getting WAY overpaid and he's a .500 pitcher. You all still do not have a pitching staff worth putting up on the mound, Zambrano is the only real threat. The Cubs will be lucky to finish .500.

    they have great hitting and Zambrano is sick, but the rest of the staff is lilly who is average and everyone else in that rotation should have a job. In addition, they don't have a closer b/c dempster was inconsistent, but who knows, i bet no one thought the cardinals would win the world series!

    The funnest thing to watch that has to do with the Cubs this season will be watching Lou Piniella scream in umpire's faces and throw bases down the right field line.

    NOOOO!!!! Sorry they dont have a chance in 2007 but they could always look forward to 3007, Maybe.
