Why do the large nations provide money to small nations.......?

..only when there is a disaster and do not use money for their education and other things to make them self sufficient ?

    It would cost too much. The countries would not use the money for the things they are supposed to. Some high ranking official would hijack the money before it got to the people that it was supposed to go to. It's been tried before.

    They send money regardless. The US spends millions in foreign aid every year, whether or not there is a disaster. Whether it's enough is debateable. But it's certainly not ONLY after a natural disaster.

    Why should we? They don't work for our country, they don't own land in our country, they don't pay taxes in our country... why should we pay for their education? We give them money when they face a situation in which they can't possible help themselves. Like a natural disaster for instance...

    because only then everything gets greater proportions and those countrys grow in the eyes of their people because it appears all in the media
