It's quite simple. There are two reasons of using it

1] Removing Grip- Invert the cone on top of the bat. Then, Roll the grip into a "coil" and push it upwards out of the handle, into the grip cone and finally out.

2] Inserting Grip- Then, take the new grip and similarly "coil" it on the grip cone and then force it into the handle (Note that the grip cone must here too be inverted over the handle). Then, force this coil into the end of the handle and then un-coil it. The grip is now onto the handle

Well, that's it. Hope i dint bore you:)

Place the wide end of the cone over the bat handle, then put the new rubber grip on the top ( the pointed ) end of the cone, and work the grip slowly down around the cone so that it widens, and as it clears the bottom of the cone you can position it properly onto the bat handle. This is quite tricky and takes a while because of the tightness of the rubber grip, but the cone makes the job a LOT easier than just trying to slip a new grip straight onto the handle, which is nearly impossible!

its no longer accessible to place a grip on ur bat, so u use a grip cone in basic terms slide the grip on the cone & roll it then u take the cone close to the cope with of the bat & then roll the grip on the cope with take the grip to the down of the cope with & then open the roll & thats it the grip is on ur bat waiting to hit the six.... jay Z ;-)
