2. (7, - 1); 2y - 3x = 1

Find an equation of the line that passes through each given point and is perpendicular to the line with the given equation.

1. (-3, 4); 3y = 2x + 3

2. (-10, 3); 2/3x + y = 6

    1. y-y1=m(x-x1), m=2 the slope and you has : y-2=2(x-4)

    2. m=3/2 => y+1=3/2(x-7)

    D1 &D2 is perpendiculars if m1*m2=-1

    1.m*2/3=-1 =>m=-3/2 & equation is : y-4=-3/2(x+3)

    2. m*(-2/3)=-1 =>m=3/2 & equation is :y-3=3/2(x+10). END!!

    y-2= 2(x-4)

    similarly 2 pb.

    3.

    y-4= (-3/2)(x+3)

    similarly 4 pb.
