    MedicalStudent.com ... http://medicalstudent.com/ ........

"is a digital library of authoritative medical information for all students of medicine" Site is curated by an MD with rather

    rigid standards for inclusion.

Clinical areas include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology,Pediatrics, Physical Examination

[Not 100% complete, but the books are written by medical doctors and other credentialed health professionals]

Emedicine... http://emedicine.com/....(free, but registration required) is "designed primarily for use by qualified physicians and other medical professionals"

"Nearly 10,000 physician authors and editors contribute to the eMedicine Clinical Knowledge Base, which contains articles on 7,000 diseases and disorders. The evidence-based content, updated regularly, provides the latest practice guidelines in 59 medical specialties. eMedicine's professional content undergoes 4 levels of physician peer review plus an additional review by a PharmD prior to publication. "

[I have found this to be at least moderately useful..

doesn't cover everything, but what it does cover, it covers very

    well ]

    PubMedCentralBooks ... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=B... ...

has maybe about 10 books on specific topics in the clinical field

Not sure where you live, but here in the USA, most (if not all) medical colleges which receive some state funding are open to the public. The libraries often have some online medical books (I think ours has about 50-75). Call ahead, ask for a reference libarian, and ask about their online books and availability to the public.

Also, I found some other answers by going to the "Discover"

link and typing in this next to ....Search for Questions....

    free medical books

To be honest, I don't have the time this morning to go through all the answers and winnow out what I would use.

    Choose wisely!

Please keep in mind that the above list does not cover everything in the clinical field...but I am hoping at least some will give you

    the information you need.

Wishing you the best in your endeavors,

    Janice
