It's very simple. For this method you'll have to consider the type of ion the elements in the compound form. So from your example, Lithium Oxide. It's an ionic compound. Lithium forms the following ion: Li1+ Oxygen forms the following ion: O2- So using the criss cross method, shft the 2 from the Oxygen to Li and 1 from the Li to O to get: --> Li2O Since its a compound, the overall valence will be neutral. Another way to understand it: So, O has a valence of -2, while Li has a valence of +1, so you need 2 Li to cancel out the -2 of the one Oxygen. So the simplest formula for the compound will be Li2O. Hope it helps

Composition rate of the olive oil:

    Oil: 18-32%.

    Water from vegetation: 40-55%.

    Bone and vegetables tissue: 23-35%.

The composition of the Virgen Extra olive oil depend of the variety and the grade of the olive:

Grease or saponifiable fraction (96-98%). This grease is constituted mainly by tryglicendes formed of differing grease acids. Oleic acid is the principal component of these grease acids (70-75%), linoleico (12%) and palmítico (6.5%).

Unsaponifiable fraction. Terpenes (like b-caroteno or vitamine A), chlorophyll, tocopherols (vitamine E, with a great antioxidant capacity), esterols (like b-sitosterol helps the absortion of cholesterol) and fenolic composites. this unsaponifiable fraction is in the Virgen olive oils, but no in the refined olive oils.

an ionic bond is generally between a metal and a nonmetal, transition metals and metalloids are considered metals. in a ionic compound there is no share of electrons nor transfer of electrons. when making a ionic compound make sure that the formal charge is neutral ,that is the charges from each element involved should cancel out at the end. most of the time in a ionic compound you do a double displacement reaction when bringing to compounds together exchange the charges in the element example: Mg reacts with Fluoride-----------> Mg +2 charge F -1 charge when they react you get--------------> MgF2

All fruits are fresh vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which can be used for food.

They mix different metals. And they probably put some coating and treat them with all kinds of stuff. Dupont or other chemical companies usually have some type of educational section about their products on web.
