Why does my Yahoo homepage say I have more e-mail messages that are actually in my inbox? Help!!!!?

    It could be one of several reasons.

    If you use yahoo through your browser, then when you go back to your home page, it takes it from your computer memory and not the web site. Once you check your mail and return to yahoo home page, hit refresh and it should update.

    If you use outlook as your email program, the numbers change as it filters your email. If you have Norton anti-spam, it complicates things as it down loads and goes through the Spam filter, Refresh should cure our problem.

    Sign out and back in again. Sometimes mine does that, but it changes the next time I sign in. Contact YAHOO for more info.
