Sighing is like an unconcious breathing exercise to relax. Unless its an exaggerated sigh to make a point, what usually happens with a sigh? A drop in the shoulders, a relaxation of the muscles.

Well, people don't normally sigh when they are excited..

People sigh when they are tired of a task, a situation, when they've had enough..

Just try not to take on the stress of the one who is sighing around you!
