My friend installed windows xp for me, I no longer have any office software. I know how to use the computer bu

not that famaliar with the innerworkings. Does xp not have excel, word, ect.? Can I download something safely? I do not want to purchase anything extra at this time.

    Try OpenOffice:

    It's free, and the file formats are compatible with MSOffice.

    I use it and am very happy with it.

    XP does not have Excel , U must install it from Microsoft Office . Go and Buy it or Download it and Crack it heheh .

    Google provice us an online service but if u want more tools . u should install MS

  • XP does not have any addtional software with it, unless xp was on the pc when purchased. You will have to reload all software that was on the pc before you upgraded, Yes they will work with xp but you must install them...

    google has online word and spreadsheet editor...

    you may find a copy of works (MSWorks)...

    Microsoft might offer Office 2007 for a free trial at their site...
