    Yes, and more.

The Bible is the living Word of God, a God who is Love.

    With love in Christ.

It's a "manual" for more than just love, but yes. There is instruction not only for how to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart... love your neighbor as yourself..."1 but how husbands should love their wives ("as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her"2), how to love even your enemies ("Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."3)

The Bible's not just a collection of campfire stories, it's not merely historical literature, it's not inconsistent (actually, that's part of its legitimacy, the fact it has so many authors and no contradictions), and it's not a book of mythology. To those that don't believe the Bible, I pose the question: What is the main message of the Bible? If you don't know, or haven't read any/all of it, stop listening to what you think everyone else is saying about it - pick it up for yourself and read, study it, then make an assessment. That's what we would do with anything else right?

Yes it is. It speaks all through it about the True Love of Christ, and if you read The Song of Solomon you will finnd great love there also between a man and woman. There is a more deeper meaing and I am not sure of how much you have studied the Word, so I will let it go at that for now.

For finding true love as in a mate?Or as in true love of God? I don't think it's good for the first one.Maybe the second if you take care of all the contradictions.

    no way!

the bible is a small part of a library that is scripture which is used for instruction in righteousness.

Jesus is the example of what a saviour does when he has love for all his people

    ummmm... no.

It is a written collection of various tribal stories that were originally told word-of-mouth, dealing with the Hebrew God.

No. It is too complex to be refered to as a manuel.

It is more profound than human sexual attraction.
