why can't I get DSL in Philadelphia from AT&T Yahoo?

    Not sure why exactly in Philadelphia, but generally its based on Business interests... Like if you dont have a lotta customers who are gonna go broad band or if they think they are ublikely to do much business if the competitors have already covered major part of philadelphia, then there's no point in doing business there! yeah they could think about it in future... Plus geographical feasibility also matters...

    There is a technicial limitation on any DSL service. Simply put, if you live more than about 18000 feet from the telephone company central office then DSL cannot work. Does not matter who is selling it.

    depends on ur location broband is only availible in certain locations if ur to far away from the base station u cant get the service
