    A, A sharp, B, C, C sharp, D, D sharp, E, F, F sharp G, G sharp

What you are looking at is starting with a C whole note and progressing up in the major scale. A major scale goes up 2 full steps, followed by a half step.

A sharp and B flat are the same thing, so is C sharp and D flat, D Sharp and E Flat, F sharp and G flat, and G sharp and A flat.

A quarter note counts as one beat per measure, a half note counts as two, a whole note counts as four. A measure is a bar of music, usually lasting 4 beats.

In 4/4 time a whole note is held for the entire four beats of the measure. A half note would be held for two beats of the measure, thus two half notes in one measure to complete the measure. Two halves = one whole. A quarter note gets one beat thus four quarter notes in a measure.

A whole note looks like a zero on its side.

A half note looks like a whole note with a stem.

A quarter note looks like a filled in half note .

An eighth note is a quarter note with a flag.

a whole note is the sideways oval with space in the middle (like a sideways 0)

a half note is the same as a whole note, but it has a line coming from it

a quarter note is the same as the half note but the center is filled in!

♪ is an eighth note, the quarter note looks like that too, but it dosent have the squiggly line at the top.

I hope that helps! good luck

that is a c scale. the notes are as follows: c,d,e,f,g,a,b,c,b,a,g,f,e,d,c. those are all whole notes (held for 4 beats) half notes look like whole notes, except hey have a stem and are counted for 2 beats. quarter notes have the circle shaded in and are counted for 1 beat. eighth notes are shaded in and have a little flag/dash thingy hanging off the end of the stem and are counted half a beat. sixteenth notes are shaeded in and have 2 flag/dash things hanging off the stem.
