What do yuou think about her? Should she have been dismissed of her position as Miss America? I think it was for rateings.. The pagent has'nt had as much publisity as it did in the past.. It's drama... Tara don't care.. Party on...

Makes no difference to her either way. It's all about publicity. Next thing you'll know she'll be climbing out of cars without underwear.

The whole thing has struck me as a bit TOO coincidental, really. Now, I don't really want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but what are the odds that a firebrand gay-rights activist just happens to draw the one very conservative Christian who was angling to get second place anyway and ask her a hot-topic question that could create a mountain of controversy? And who is hurt by this scenario? The blogger gets press for being a firebrand, the runner-up gets more media attention than she ever would have, the contest itself actually gets paid attention for longer than the single headline it usually merits, and the actual winner goes on to semi-obscurely and uncontroversially do what she always does. Trump's decision to retain Miss Prejean would just play into all this. If this was the plan all along, it was brilliant. And now that it's revealed how Miss Prejean has no problem compromising her own morals, lying, posing suggestively, and violating legal agreements to get ahead, I wouldn't put it past her to agree to such a farce herself. I suppose time will tell in her case... will she compromise more and more and more to stay in the spotlight? We'll all just have to wait and see.

Let her keep the crown. Its a beauty contest anyway, remember. All this talk about the "image" and such. Its all foolishness, Donald Trump is just holding a contest for his next wife anyway. And judging by the look of this girl he chose well.
Besides, that is what most American teenagers do now anyway. Wouldn't being Miss America require you to be as American as possible. Short of marrying a rapping jackass and then partying with Miss Hilton, I don't see how this girl could be more American than with what she was doing.
For the record though, I thought Tamiko Nash (the runner-up)was the much better looking of the two. I would have picked that one in the first place. But now that she has lost I see no reason to be messing with Tara Connor.

I think she "screwed" up someone - either Trump or her lesby lover and 14 other men from the bars. I used to think Miss USA (it's not Miss America) was for talented, upstanding, elegant, young women who had goals, and a bright future. Now I see it's just another degrading MTV Real World/Bad Girls Club/Paris Hilton party scene. And I've lost a lot of respect for Trump.

Who really cares? The idea of the Miss USA pagent is outdated and really has no place. I mean what really does she do? Its all a really stupid idea. There are more important things to talk about in the news than this being a breaking story. She did drugs and drank underage, chances are she will do it again. As for her kissing Miss teen USA , now wouldnt mind seeing that.

I think it is a terrible lesson for young girls to see that there are no consequences to your actions, as long as you smile and look pretty.
Yes, this may be good for Donald Trump and Miss America, but it sets a terrible precedent for young girls everywhere. Miss America should be held to the highest standard. When you have girls like Paris Hilton, etc. going out and setting poor standards for girls, that is one thing, but Miss America should be a role model. And she is expected to set a good example for all women.
I think Trump made a great decision for himself, but it does nothing for girls who already have very few women to look up to. Now, Miss America is going to be like every other partying drunk celebrity. That is what girls should aspire to?

I think if he took away the crown for excessive partying the world would realize that the contest is fixed and that e pulls all the strings.

I think it was a ratings issue.
She DID screw up bad but sending out a favorite is not a good thing for the audience is it? Not good for the show.
And Trumpy is a clever businessman and knows when to do what!

Should have been booted..........getting it on with Miss Teen USA, cocaine in her system, and partying and underage drinking. She is supposed to be held to a higher standard, and she failed......what's it going to take to get her dismissed.....Murder???
