are fictitious assets and intangible assets same ?

Absolutely not. Intangible assets are of real value, but not plant, equipment, or inventory. Rather items are patents, trademarks, goodwill, copyrights, and so forth that are of value. Fictitious assets are not real.Source(s): Fundamental Accounting
