Prez say he not believe in long distance relations. Prez think that distance not teach you what you need to know about the other person. Prez say Bamma far from him but Prez still heart Bamma. Prez think Bamma is best man. Prez not in love with Bamma. Bamma Prez best friend. Prez Bamma biggest fan. Prez believe if 2 people love each other they move to be together. Prez say 6 months max. It depends on how much the two of you still talk and see each other. I have been in a relationship for 2 years and only for about 10 months has my boyfriend lived in the same town as me, but he only lives about 45 min. away so we still see each other when we can. If you are happy and stay happy in the relationship, it shouldn't be too hard to stay faithful. I know there is a lot of pain involved in being so far away from your baby, but it won't last forever if you stay together.

It all depends on the two people involved. I was in a long distance relationship with a girl that lived about a four hour drive from where I live. We saw each other every other week. Either I would drive to see her or she would drive to see me. In between our visits, we would talk on the phone every three or four days and e-mail each other daily. It worked for about a year without any problems, then she was transferred to another city (about 1500 miles away) by her employer. So, we agreed to go our separate ways.

i KNOW i would be faithful because i love my bf sooo much and there isnt anyone who could replace him. im not saying i dont trust him, but i would feel like it would be more difficult for him to be faithful. i know he needs sex regularly, and even though he may not have a real interest in another girl, he would have a hard time suppressing his physical needs. i just cant imagine being away from him for an extened amount of time. i would try my hardest to be wherever he is. i would say, look at it from a realistic point of view, if you think ther is ANY doubt you guys would stray outside the relationship, just put the relationship on "hold" until you dont have to be away any more.

If you both are truelly commited to making it work and are making plans for the future to be together and put that plan into place it can work.

It is not always easy though to stay in a relationship when you never see that person. But if you are both serious about it and make plans to see each other calling each other and writing it can be done as long as you are both honest with each other and keep the communication open. good luck.

  • It works if you both are faithful. You know, some people are loners, and they like to be in relationships without a lot of pressure and responsibility to another person,

My aunt married an active military man for this very reason. She likes to be with someone occasionally, but also loves her alone time.

It is very difficult. I've been through it so many times and it always ended up very badly. Specially the missing feeling. When we missed and been missed, like the whole world won't cooperate with us.

Just avoid distance relationship. If you really love him, stay together.

Long distance relationship does not work if you were someone who needs constant physical affection.

If you aren't this kind of person, then long distance relationship may work out.

it depends on how long distance it is. if it's like an hour away it's easier than if the person is 6 hours away etc. but no they don't usually. i've had a couple and it's not that fun or easy. it is easier to say one thing on the phone or whatever and then do something totally different. so i'd encourage you to find someone closer to you.

They can work, but it does take a lot of work, honesty and communication with the other person. Since you can't see each other everyday it's important to tell them everything that's going on. And...It can be difficult, I guess, especially if you aren't completely committed to that person.
