If you're trying to shop for someone, but don't know their size the trick is not to purchase anything form fitting! Don't try to purchase any lingerie, swimwear or sexy outfits. Go with sweaters... big chunky ones are in style right now, so it should be easy to find something along those lines. Also, look at materials with some stretch to them.

To determine the correct size think about how big the individual is in relation to you. How tall are they? How big around are they? If someone is 6'2 they're probably going to wear a large or bigger. If they're 5'0 they'll wear a small unless they're heavier up top, in which case go for a medium in a stretchy material.

If all of that fails, ask a mutual friend's opinion or ask someone else you know who appears to be that person's size (make sure they understand you're not a perv!). ;-)

    Hope that helps!
