This is a link from the University of Mississippi for the undergraduate requirements....
This is a link from The University of Mississippi for the graduate program...
These are various speciality degrees you can also obtain...
and then of couse the PhD...
These are all from the University of MS, although the programs across the states are very similar to these. It gives you a good starting off point to go by... The best way to search for your area and what you would need would be to go to the school of your choice's webpage... Most will have links that update yearly to include new requirements/couses.
Hope this helps... =)Source(s): www.olemiss.edu

I'm pretty sure you have to be an accounting major, because after we receive the bachelor's degree, we still need an additional year's worth of education, plus we must pass the exam to achieve CPA status. I realize a certified CPA could answer this even better, but that is my understanding.

It varies on state to state. But I don't think that any state requires a specefic accounting degree. I know in some states that you don't even have to go to a post grad school... you just have to have a bachelors degree and pass the state exam.Source(s): My co-worker is a CPA

AA degree is a basic requirement to apply for becoming a cop. But if you can possess a BA degree, it is much better than the AA. and there are other requirements as physicality and mentality... etc
