can xenophobia and rascism be considered a similar/same thing?

Of course. Xenophobia is defined as an intense fear or dislike of foreign people, their customs and culture, or foreign things, so i'd definitely say that was racial intolerance and prejudice based on race.

It means the same thing to me,because both xenophobia and racism means having issues with foreign or people of another race. For the mere fact that you have issues that makes racist.

Not really because the first one is unrational as every phobia does as for the rascism is totally rational, at least from the point of view from the one who suffers from such

Racism implies that you openly disapprove of different races.
Xenophobia is basically racism within a race.

Difference is difference, period. People will fear what they will. If you're in the mood for some winter snuggling up with books, check out Shakespeare's The Tempest, and then read Fanon's Black Skin, White Masks.

Look in the dictionary. If the definitions are similar. Then,it's the same thing.
