To all who believe in God: What are we fighting about? Really?
Look, we believe in God in our own way, why fight....? Why not try to be the best you can be and let the other people live their life? Weather or not they believe in God?
(weather or not you think the person is wrongg you can not force them to convert... SORRY but that is the truth)

well because some religions preach that if you do not believe in G-d in their way you will burn in hell. So they try and save you.
This results in animosity on both sides and eventually violence.

This is a good point. Whether someone believes the way I do, or not isn't a reason to fight. But I believe it is worth discussing, as some religions, and Christianity teaches eternal consequences of a wrong decision in life. So I pray people do get it right. When we study the holy books, the truth will be revealed. The books don't teach the same things, so we need to make the decision ourselves.

i tried to tell people worldwide that going to Iraq was the wrong time to go to war because the Wrong people are in charge! there is a world wide conspiracy of nations to give this world up to the anti christ. So fighting the war in Iraq is an unholy war because it is a war that builds up the enemy of God and the unrighteous dominion of antichrists.
as for wars of words and endless debates about christianity or christians over jews Or Islam over christians or vise versa. The bible clearly says that christians should have respect for people of other religions. Jesus said be harmless like doves and harm no one. I only wish Islam would believe the same thing.
Words hurt ! peoples faiths are always contrary to someone else's faith, but the only true existence is having dinner with God and having Faith enough to receive such a promise.
I am absolutely certain that if there was a Jew or a muslim or a christian that had enough Faith to sit inthe presence of God for dinner that they ALL would REBUKE their Own kinds for the wars and hatreds that exist in the world.

Man loves to be right. So, in religion, the Abrahamic religions state that the others are wrong. This is not accurate of every person, but enough that there will be those who are pompous enough to actively tell other pious individuals that they are wrong. Basing their entire judgment of a person on the fact that they belong to another religion.
Warfare, on the other hand, is almost always about oppressed people and money. In many cases religion is used by supposed religious leaders, who are actually would be statesman, for the purposes of motivating the general populace.

All fighting against anyone or anything outside oneself is really wrong in this time of human maturity.
At the coming of age, nowadays man realizes that all evil come from his own self. So with the turning oneself from ignorance to knowledge, man will be able to solve all problems in the world.
With this knowledge, he can easily love his neighbour and can sincerely cooperate with each other to devise measures for various problems at the global scale. No men, no countries, can fight against the deterioration of the world environment; but the unified humanity can make out plans to improve the quality of air, of water, of land, of decent living, and so on...
Without learning the divine lesson of selfless love and without seeking the divine assistance from the Messengers of the One True God, humanity can never reach the agreement on the above matters. You see they sound good, but who care if they are not clearly and fully taught in hundreds of Holy Books.

This was the message of Baha'u'llah, the Manifestation of God for this age. He wrote:
"O people! Consort with the followers of all religions in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship. Thus hath the day-star of His sanction and authority shone forth above the horizon of the decree of God, the Lord of the worlds."
"There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God. The difference between the ordinances under which they abide should be attributed to the varying requirements and exigencies of the age in which they were revealed."
Baha'u'llah taught that all religions are stages in the development of "the changeless Faith of God, eternal in the past, eternal in the future". Only their external or subsidiary teachings change. The eternal truths remain the same and are revealed with a fuller potency in every age.Source(s): To learn more about the message of God fo this day and age, see: http://bahai.org/

Yes well I think ultimately we're not fighting, we're just passionate and there is alot of just wanting others to be
saved from hell. I think ultimately everyones heart is in the
right place. You know I always say though ... no good can come
of getting hostile about it. It certainly wouldn't move me to join
a party that gets hostile when they're faced with someone who just might not get it the way you do. So yea, fighting isn't the answer but sometimes people mistake fighting for passionately speaking about something that has real meaning to them. Alot of people enjoy the fight also ... so let them carry on in their foolishness. It's what they're about!

We aren't fighting. Not really.
It's all about who thinks they are on top. And some folks are not content unless their beliefs are right up there.
So, I'm not fighting. I agree with you. Nice sentiment, and nicely put. Happy Holidays!
To the rest... go ahead, be on top. What is it going to get you anyway? A bloody nose from the altitude? Then by all means, have at it.

The only fight I have known came from inside my mind over the information given me from birth, to battle against unruly thought that kept me from knowing the promise of our Lord Jesus.

If you will do a quick history search-you will see that it has been the Muslim that has started the troubles every time, and it has been the Muslim every time that has broken every peace treaty they have agreed to.
So, why not ask this question to the Muslims who are keeping this fight alive. How many times has the non-Muslim stopped fighting and agreed to peace? That is how many times the Muslim has cheated in the negotiations. !! AL TAKEYAA !! (LIE)
