Can Ceramic Teapots be put on stovetop burners?

    No, they will crack. Usually you can use the various kinds of stainless steel teapots. Ceramic teas pots are part of tableware and are for presenting/serving tea to your guests. They must be swirled first with a little warm water before actually putting in the hot water for tea.

    ceramic teapots are made to have the hot water poured into them NOT to be put on the burner

    NO, NO, NO, ceramic pots are only for POURING hot water into, to steep tea. Then you pour the tea into a teacup. You boil the water to pour, into the ceramic pot, on the stove, preferably, in a kettle. Good luck, if you put the ceramic pot on the flame, it'll burn.

    No, they are not for boiling water, but for steaping tea. Put the tea bag in the pot, then the hot water, remove them when the tea is how you like it, drink!

    If you don't know the answer to that, don't try it, seems like you're the type of people leaving silverware in the mayo jar or leaving silverware in the microwave.
