what does high pressure mean?????????/?

i need a scientific explanation of how high atmospheric pressure will result into good weather- bright sunlight and dry atmosphere

    Higher pressure pushes with more force down on all of the gases and all of mater. Making it harder for gases to expnad or evaporate. Without a pressureised suit an Astronauts blood would boil in "outer space".
