how do you calm down when things kept coming up that upset you all day long ?

    Find something to do that will divert your attention from the stressful situation. Exercise, go for a drive, call a friend, just find something enjoyable to distract yourself. And breath!

    It is helpful to examine the emotional triggers and figure out what to do ahead of time, what cause the stimulant to be a trigger and ways to stop the long standing pain that cause you to have so many triggers. You may benefit from a trip to the doctors office to see if there is any medication to help you remain calm. Avoid alcohol. You could benefit from a consultation with a psychologist or social worker.
