Cleaning up the local park (picking up trash, etc.), caroling at the old folks home, offering to wrap gifts for elderly neighbors or help out at the local community center or soup kitchen over the holidays. I am sure there must be some good ideas on line.

Your local 4-H club might have somethings going on that teens could join in this season: http://www.4husa.org/

Here's one from Children of the New Earth for a worldwide and historic children's peace project: http://www.childrenofthenewearth.com/

I would search online for something local.

    Peace!

If you are excellent one type of extracurricular activity, you can put it to use. For example if you enjoy playing sports, you can offer to be an assistant to a coach. I for one love to dance. I assist a dance teacher at a school on weekends. Sometimes I even get paid for being a subsitute. Put your strengths to work and hopefully you'll have fun doing it too.

Meals on Wheels:Take dinners to the elderly or unfortunate, also they could do work on yards, or help fix up a community center or park.

WOW - inspiring! Visit a nursing home, or hospital physical rehab unit.

i could attempt to do as many as i could desire to just to get it over with. think of of it as a job (or 2d activity) and attempt to do 40 hours each and every week or so. Get it over with, you do no longer prefer to enable it get to October and understand which you haven't any longer have been given adequate time to get it performed.
