Considering that most PC's come with 1 or 2 GB of RAM and 1 TB is 1000 GB, I'd say that's a lot of memory.

On the other hand, if that's storage space (i.e. hard drive space), then it's not that big.

A terabyte is 1024 gigabytes and .5 terabyte is 512 gigs so thats 1536 gigabytes of data storage which is in itself a huge amount of disk space.

A terabyte is 1,000 gigabytes. That's HUGE! A gig is 1,024 Megabytes (Mb). Most computers, mine included, have 512Mb.

1000 GB is 1 TB, so yes it's an enormous amount of space.

Best Buy's largest hard drive is 400gb for retail stores (atleast in my store) so considering your HD is more than x2 that size. I'd have to say yes, its extremely large.
