who thinks that america needs to pull out of the war?

I support our military 101 percent, but i think we just need to get out of their and make that place a huge parking lot! those people over their are full of hate, and they are raised to hate, their will never be peace! so we need to pull out and level the terrain!

No they're not. Some of them, yes, but the majority of them are innocent victims of Saddams regime looking for and appreciating our help. Don't rely on the media for your illegitimate postings which bear no factual information.

No, there will never be peace, but shaping the battlefield is an important goal. Our military has been downsized to a dangerous level, and we've concentrated on technology with the relatively small forces we have, and put on the back burner the types of forces we need for lack of the numbers to do so. Of course our military do quite well with what they've got, but wouldn't it be nice if instead they had what they need?

Vietnam, Lebanon, and Somalia could have offered valuable lessons, and the scholarship in the military has been there. Now we fight an enemy whose definition is not restricted by national borders. It's past time we work towards a force tailored to counter-insurgency operations if for no other reason than that our real and potential enemies know we aren't set up for that sort of war, so (lacking Saddam Hussein's stupidity) they're likely to choose that form of warfare against us. We have spent the last thirty years in the equivalent of 1935, fat, happy and unprepared.

When our mission is done or when the Chiefs of Staff decide we can not accomplish our mission, then we pull out not before.

America has stood strong against much worse enemies before & the citizens have gladly backed them. They understood the price of freedom, now it seems our easy lives & parents who have spoiled us have caused us to expect freedom to be free.

The cost has been hundreds of thousands of lives to give people the right to slander the president & opening critize our great country before foreign nations. I am a proud American & willing to back the military's decision not second guess from my comfy chair in my nice warm home.

No. It would be a huge mistake. Open us up for countries to believe that our military can't accomplish anything and almost an engraved invitation to try to take us out.

But there is also much love over there. You would have to be there to see it cause the news sure doesn't cover that part.

Bush started the war without even a good reason and now our people and many of the innocent die. this was a total mistake so he should defintetly pull out because in a war no one wins, we all mainly just die...
