Armstrong tends to be a good brand, so you'll be able to get some good money for it. Take it to a music shop and get it appraised, some of them will even buy them from you. If you want to get the most money find a music teacher who sells them to their students, they'll know how much it's worth and have a list of ppl who are looking for them. EBay has questionable results, but you can try there, but know that most musicians don't buy instruments from eBay, so you may not get as much as you want for it. You could also try a pawn shop, but again that will probably get you much less than it is worth.

Don't know the price but I'd all your local music store or better local High School and talk to the guy who comes in and gives private lessons. Monitor Ebay and Yahoo auctions for used flutes create a spread sheet and you'll get a good average.
If you can wait until next summer you'll probably get the best price. Kids starting band and needing and instrument will be looking hard.

You can look on E-bay or other auctions and see if the one you have is on there. Plus you can get an estimation of how much used flutes go for.

Take it to a music store and have it appraised; if you don't want to do that, half of what you paid for it is generally acceptable.
