Why do we celebrate the birth of jewish baby by eating ham?

    Too funny. You do have a point. People do anything and everything because of tradition without questioning why they do it.

    Which Jewish baby are you talking about? It could be someone's son. Oh wait, you are talking about Jesus. I have no clue because I don't eat ham.

    I guess for the same reason that they celebrate his birth by slowly killing a live tree by removing its roots and sticking it in sugar-water so that it dies more slowly.

    Because after Jesus was born God told St. Paul that we should eat everything and we did not have to keep kosher any more.
