    No, it's not true.

Unless you've had sex, you ARE a virgin.

Um, I'm not sure I get your question...but here goes...

Using a tampon doesn't take away your virginity. Having sexual intercourse does. Understand?

Doesn't sound like you're old enough to handle having sex, so I'd advise that you remain a virgin (assuming you still are) for at least another 7-10 years.

You can not lose your virginity by using a tampon. I'm not exactly sure why this is a common mis-conception; however, some people feel that you can break your hymen by using by using them.

Unless you have physical sex, you are still a virgin. Millions of people use them everyday...it's a common hygeine practice. Don't listen to them.

You're still a virgin. Tampons don't effect you that way.

The only way you could not be a virgin is by having sex with a man.

Some cultures believe that the hyme (a membrane in the vagina) was to be intact to be a virgin. but regular exercise usually breaks it during childhood. Generally speaking, loss of virginity occurs once the vagina has been penetrated in a sex act by a penis.

Past beliefs state that breaking your "hymen" can result in loss of virginity. There are many acts that cause the hymen to break, such as use of a tampon, or riding a bicycle regularly. Current beliefs state that you are a "virgin" up and until you first have sexual intercourse involving penetration of an object into your vagina.

Unless you have had sex, then you are still a virgin. You might break your hymen by using tampons, but that doesn't mean you're not still a virgin. Check out http://www.coolnurse.com/hymen.htm

no. you are still are a virgin your friends are idiots. A tampon is totally not the same as having sex. You are only not a virgin when a male has put his penis inside you. That is defiantly not a tampon. Nine inches or better!!!
