can you burn coffee with hot water above 200 degrees?

    Well, when I make coffee on the stove I bring it to a boil which is 212 degree's F. You just don't want the grounds to get stuck the bottom of the pot. So I don't see how you could burn the coffee by having the water too hot.

    Only if you boil the water in a pressurised container

    I think you can over cook it where it will be extremely strong and yes it would eventually burn.

    no, because water won't go above 100 degrees C. It evaporates.
