VERY FATIGUED!! Sleep Doctors/experts please answer!!??
for the past two days i have been suddenly overcome with major fatigue. the only warning is either a headache or my neck becomes soar. I feel as if i could fall over and just sleep for an eternity. It doesn't happen very often, but when i does it is with full intinsity. What's going on? Is it just stress or could it be something more? I'm not close to my cycle and i haven't been sick, or staying up late. Could someone please help me?
Thanks and God Bless!!

i just went to my ENT about the same type of thing. he believes my headaches, tension, and fatigure are not due to my sinus problems (which i do have often) but really migraines from tension and stress.
i didn't feel like i was sleeping too little but apparently stress can cause more wear and tear on your body. also, the quality of sleep is as important as the quanitity of sleep.
i find that i am SO tired but i cannot fall asleep easily. when i do fall asleep i have very vivid dreams and don't want to wake up in the morning. i have been a few minutes late to work for the past 3 weeks. that is the main reason i went to the dr. i knew something had to be wrong.
hope you figure it out. get it checked out. just to be save i am having a catscan and seeing a neurologist next week.
feel better! SD

I am not a doctor but I do work in medicine...in surgery.
When you mentioned that you get headaches, I immediately thought of blood pressure elevation. Have you had your blood pressure checked recently? I also thought of stress when you mentioned both the headaches and sore neck. And when you mentioned full intensity, I was thinking of some sort of muscle spasm.
Also, just because you haven't been staying up late doesn't mean you can't become fatigued. Sometimes people sleep too many hours and have headaches when they wake up. And sometimes people don't get a good quality of sleep, therefore, they feel tired all day long.
You would be surprised to know how much stress will affect not only your mental health but your physical health, as well. Stress can do all kinds of things to your body. You can try to reduce the amount of stress in your life by exercising, meditating, taking up something peaceful like yoga, getting a massage, etc. And when you reduce stress and exercise, blood pressure will also decrease.
I wouldn't necessarily worry since you said it's only been a couple of days. But, if it continues for more than a week or so, I would defintely make a doctor's appointment. In the mean time, try to research whatever symptoms you may be having. Write all of your symptoms down and the time that they occur so that you'll know how often this is happening. You can go to websites like www.webmd.com to compare your symptoms with diseases listed on that site. It will just take some time.
I wish you much luck.

The change of weather could do this, like a bear that hibernates for the winter.
Get u some B12 vitamins and melt under tongue when this happens.
U may want to try some ginseng tablets too
