My boyfriend's MP3 fell down into water. Now it doesn't turn on. Its warranty expired. What can he do?

Although it doesn't turn on, it is recognized by the computer when connected with the wire. What can I do? There's no way of fixing it in my hometown (outside the United States).

First, remove the battery. Then soak it in the purest vodka you can find. The vodka will remove the water without damaging the device. If that doesn't work, put it in the oven on LOW!!!! for a while with the battery out. This should fix it.

right here is an determination: pass up and ask - directly up! you have been relationship him for 4 years! Why are you scared? You 2 could be very soft with one yet another to talk approximately issues that situation one yet another. I wager something is on his innovations and it has his distracted. Or in the journey that your older and that's an quite severe relationship, possibly he's making an attempt to verify in case you are the single. If thats the case, no person needs a spouse it is only approximately intercourse. Ask him to do something enjoyable and don't start up no longer something and don't be down if he does not desire to bone. in case you tutor him a competent time, i'm helpful he will come around.

take it all apart, but remember what goes where. let everything dry out, and then put it back together. sometimes the components just need to dry out. if that doesnt work go on-line and find somewhere you can ship the MP3 player to be fixed since you can't get it fixed where you live.

Try drying it out in the microwave. Don't leave it in too long, though. You could cook it!

A few seconds should be enough to evaporate any water inside the mechanism.

Buy a new one. unfortunately, electronic nowadays aren't built to last/withstand a whole lot. It will not be worth repairing. It costs almost as much to repair electronic devices as it does to buy a new one.

buy a new one just like it for a present, and reload all the information from his other MP3 player, onto the new one.
