    1.P(x) = x^4 + 2x^3 + 2x^2 - 5x + 3; Is there a real zero between 0 and 1?

    P(0) = 3

    P(1) = 1 +2 +2 -5 +3 =3.

    P(1/2) = 1/16 +2/8 + 2/4 -5 +3 = -1.1875

so there is a cero between 0 and 1/2 and there is a cero between 1/2 and 3.
