Wouldn't the world be a more peaceful place if all religionists were to accept that their religion is not the

only true religion and that all other religions (and lack of religions) are equal to theirs?

That's the truth and fact whether or not they accept it.

Update:

So Gary, your Jesus is violent and promotes violence.

Update 2:

I love your answer, Sai Ganesh.

Different religion are different paths towards God, all the religion teach one common moral " Be Good and Do Good "in different language, different way.

Ego is the root cause of all miseries. Ego of greatness, superiority have killed many people. Time to destroy our Ego about our religion and let us all praise God.

It's funny that you put down others who claim to know the truth but claim yourself to know the absolute truth of the matter. The truth is that all the religions (and lack of religion) cannot be equal because they make conflicting claims. If there is objective truth outside of what you have determined in your own mind, do you want to know it?

    Tell it to Jesus Pal.

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6)

" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)

Your basically asking shouldnt everybody except the lie that their is no god? No. Becuase their is a real true God. Just becuase you dont know Him yet doesnt mean were gonna stop preaching teaching and telling people the TRUTH about God.

Many religions and Gods. But only one faith is real, and only one God is real.

Nope. That's YOUR truth and fact (your perception).

The question is: how closely does your perception map to reality?
