    That guy is nuts. "syncope" is fainting...

    Stroke is thrombose cérébrale

    For the person who said cérébrale has to do with the brain, that's where a stroke occurs. The term above is the correct French medical term used to describe a "stroke" but the other terms correctly used would be accident cardio-vasculaire or une crise d’apoplexie.

    now if u meant like heart stroke we usually say crise cardiaque
