Whoso List to Hunt is a sonnet about a guy who knows where to find a good deer (hind), but has giving up hunting her for several reasons. He's tired of it, of those hunting, he's farthest behind and she's too swift, it's like catching air in a net. He has serious doubts anyone will catch her.

The final problem is the deer wears a diamond studded necklace which reads "noli me tangere" (touch me not) for she belongs to Caesar and is wild though she seems tame.

The catch is wether he's really talking about a deer in some nature preserve or a woman. Whatever the case, messing with Caesars deer or women will most likely end in failure.
