# Are nonexistent things even or odd?

How many is a nonexistent thing?

To those who say zero: Is zero even or odd?

To those who say even: Why are nonexistent things even?

(TR)

Olmayan şey kaç tanedir?

Sıfır diyenlere: Sıfır çift midir tek midir?

Çift diyenlere: Olmayan şeyler neden çifttir?

I'd say that zero was an even number.....

Because there is no odd number with a zero in it.... Zero balances all things.... With it.. any odd number would be even.....

and that includes 1.....

10 is even...

30... is even

50... is even....

70... is even...

90... is even...

and so forth.....

You know what is really odd? This question? There is no even or odd when 0 is neutral. Therefore it is both and then nothing so really it is all or nothing. That is how you make numerals by the Zero. Like there are only 9 numbers and the 0 makes more out of the original 9 by being neither and just neutral. Now is that even enough for you?

The answer can be given in Chinese: mu.

Mu means 'the question cannot be answered, because it it illogical: rephrase the question'.

You are assuming a duality of possible answers, when the possibility of answers are three: even, odd, or neither (mu).

Your language is defective and therefore has lead you to ask a question cannot be answered logically.

zero is not a number, and cannot be either even or odd. zero stands for nothing, and so neither is nor isn't. there is no such thing as non-existence, and it is impossible to quantify something that does not exist.

to clarify: there is no such thing as non-existence, because if there were such thing, then it would exist...and non-existence cannot exist, obviously. Right?

If it is non-existent, it cannot be even or odd, since it does not exist. Time for a nap, my friend, good night.

uhh, yeah. neither, even in the throes of heady existentialism this question would be labeled moot. the only label or category something nonexistent need be given is simply.........NONEXISTENT!
